SHEERGARD® 5G radomes provide protection to high-frequency point-to-point communications systems in any urban, rural or marine environment.
Our radome covers can be fabricated with an array of materials to best suit your application and protect your high frequency antennas or 5G panels. Thin PTFE fabrics can be deployed as part a pre-tensioned frame designed to easily mate with any underlying structure; lightweight sandwich covers can be tuned to any transmitting or receiving frequency and snap-fitted to a mating housing; or lastly, semi-rigid composite laminates can provide the best of both worlds by integrating into subsequent assembly steps to provide an easily automated solution.
All of our high frequency radome systems are proven to provide permanent hydrophobicity over a 20-year life span, prevent the collection of snow, water or ice, and are actively self-cleaning to remove signal blocking debris and maintaining the desired aesthetic. They are suitable for EHF and SHF antennas.

SHEERGARD® PTFE coated fabrics have been analyzed and tested for structural application to all environmental conditions.
The materials used for radome fabrication are composites consisting of a woven substrate fabric protected with applied coatings, providing tensile strength and tear resistance.
